A new preview date and launch of Marvel’s upcoming Disney + series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” was announced Wednesday during the streamer’s presentation at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour.

Instead of debuting on the originally announced preview date of Wednesday August 17th, “She-Hulk” will premiere on Thursday August 18th. The nine-episode comedy series will be released weekly on Thursday, marking a change of strategy.

The move marks the continued expansion of Disney + programming. While some hit series like “Obi-Wan Kenobi”, “Ms. Marvel” and “The Book of Boba Fett” debuted with new episodes on Wednesday, the second season of “The Mandalorian” released new chapters on Friday, one day. which Netflix has long dominated with its new binge releases. “She-Hulk” will be the first Marvel series to release new episodes on Thursdays.

In “She-Hulk,” Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases, faces the complicated life of a 30-year-old single who also happens to be a green, 6-foot, 7-inch super-powerful Hulk. . The series will welcome a host of MCU veterans, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky / the Abomination and Benedict Wong as Wong.
